First attempt at punch needle :)

Trying to make a coaster for my husband… I know it’s not perfect but since it was my first time I’m quite proud of myself. Spent so much time trying to get the eyes right, and wish the mouth was smaller but I’m too lazy to undo it.

The rest of the materials are gonna arrive tomorrow (glue, felt, etc), can’t wait to finish it but I’m terrified of doing something wrong.

I’m not sure about the length of the loops, is it okay for a coaster? Also, why do I get loops with different lengths sometimes and what can I do to improve this?
