Help with foundation — looking for something long wearing but not heavy

Hey, I am looking for a foundation that I can wear to work and for special events. I know it may be too much to ask for but I can make a more glowy foundation work when I prep my skin well and use a matte setting powder. The thing is, I have combination skin with oily T-zone and dry cheek area and because of that many foundations end up looking heavy or cakey on my skin. For reference, most of the time I’m using my hands and/or wet beauty sponge to apply foundations. I have pretty good skincare routine and I exfoliate 2 times a week. I have pretty good skincare routine overall but I struggle with redness and dry patches the most at the moment. I would appreciate any kind of help. Thank you!
