Irving and Burt

Not here to discuss theories about them (although I think the reset theory is bang on the money), I just want to praise the writing and acting of their characters and scenes together.

I've seen Turturro and Walken in so many roles that I often see the actor rather than the character, and I did with John at first, seeing him doing a character rather than seeing Irving. But, from the very first moment of their first scene together, that changed. Their relationship is so wholesome and genuine in a way that so few are. The quiet contentment they seem to share whenever they're in each others' presence is wonderful.
