How does Dylan's innie know the location of the chip in Dylan's house?

When milchick is at the closet of dlyan's house asking him where he placed the chip he stole from O&D, I assume he was asking his Innie counterpart due to his surprise at seeing his daughter burst into the closet. However, this raises a question of how his Innie knew where the O&D chip was located in the house if it was part of his outie's memory. Is this a plothole?
