Kody’s midlife crisis and the move to Flagstaff.

Just was rewatching some old episodes and saw things that make more sense in hindsight than they did at the time of airing. Aspyn’s wedding preparation episodes and Flagstaff discussion was illuminating. Kody started talking on the show for the first time about his retirement and having enough money to able to give Ariella Mae the wedding she deserves. The way he talked to Aspyn at La Calle about the costs was disgusting! He made Aspyn feel so bad that Met actually said she would put $$ personally so Aspyn could book the venue. Also, Janelle saying that the costs were around what they spent on Maddie and Caleb. I’m pretty sure one of the reasons he’s worried about it was Robyn in his ear about her kid’s future and it not being fair if there’s no $$ available. She was so calm and backing up Kody about the move because they needed to secure assets for the future was telling that they had already talked about it. She tells on herself on the couch interviews also and corrected herself saying “all the kids” after first saying her kids. Things stick out on rewatching that slipped by on the first.
