Has anyone “solved” the 4 month regression without switching to the crib?
Approaching week 4 of the 4 month regression…
Our LO was sleeping 7-9 hours since 6 weeks old. Now she’s sleeping usually 3 hours, then waking up hourly. Thankfully we can usually still get to 7-8 total hours by constantly adjusting the snoo app, but we’re still waking up 4-5 times per night at least. Even on very high responsiveness, we have to manually adjust the speed as it isn’t quick enough.
Has anyone had a bad regression, got through it, and back to sleeping full nights in the snoo?
There are a million threads on the regression, and seems like everyone is just giving up and going to the crib.
EDIT: In a moment of frustration, we brought the baby down to her crib at 4am and she slept for 5 hours straight. No swaddle, Merlin, etc. we now use a sleep sack, and after 6 weeks we haven’t had a bad night once. Seems she had just outgrown the snoo
The transition was much easier than we expected. We just rock her till she’s quite sleepy, put her down in the crib, shush and pat her and she usually rolls over within 90 seconds and falls asleep
