Mega Collection+ version differences?

I've read some old threads with mentions of the PS2 version having issues such as having games run at 50Hz, and some mentions that both PS2 and Xbox versions are identical. I haven't found any confirmation on whether those problems occur on the Xbox version as well or not. I also read that only the PAL release runs slower (or is it the system?). Does the Xbox ver. run well on 360?

I'm just asking for help deciding what version to get, and if I should settle for PAL or get a foreign copy. If PS2/Xbox are the same I'd get a PS2 copy to complement my Gems Collection, but not if it's better on the Xbox. I want the best and most authentic experience with this collection. I plan on getting getting the original games too at some point but some are very rare here (I want to play CD with the og soundtrack!! But the few copies I've seen were crazy expensive).. I'm pretty confused, thanks in advance for any help and advice.
