XM5s aren't as good as XM4s

I've had the XM2,3,4 and now the XM5s, also had the WF-XM3,4 and now 5. I'm a huge advocate for these headphones, I happily spend money on them and promote them. (I work in selling tech)

The noise cancelling on the XM5s is nothing compared to the 4s. I'm so disappointed. I've done every setting, reset them, got the app, they're on my ears properly but it still let's in outside noise. Example is when I'm walking down the road I can hear the cars driving past, espeically when listening to podcasts. On the 4s I never had this issue.

It's almost like a mild version of ambient sound but it's not on. Anyone else having this issue?
