2017 Marvel Spider-Man isn’t that bad. It’s even “good.”

So, we were supposed to travel at Christmas, but due to the worst possible flu for my 9 & 7 year olds- we couldn’t this year. Sad. HOWEVER, we decided to binge this show for the 2 full weeks that miserable virus ran through our home.

Here’s the thing - yes, the animation is very spotty. And yes, if this had to be watched as a weekly, it was be nigh unbearable.

As a binge-able show, though, it’s really good. The plot of the show has a tight continuity, there is very solid and progressive character development, & has a ton of fun elements to it. Furthermore, it had adapted large swaths of modern Spider-Man comics past shows didn’t or barely touched.

Overall, if you can binge it, I think it’s a great and worthwhile show & well worth a full binge-watch.
