I’m looking for recommendations for games several games. Budget doesn't matter. I'm going make one post instead of seperating them into several ones. Firstly I'm looking for games similar to Astral Chain that run well on the Steam Deck. Here’s a bit of background on what I’ve played and what I’m looking for:

Previously Enjoyed Games

• Nier: Automata – Loved both the gameplay and the story.
• Bayonetta – Really enjoyed the fast-paced combat.
• Stellar Blade (PS5) – Played and liked this one as well.

Preferred Genre

I’d like to stick with action-heavy games in the same genre as Astral Chain. Not looking to explore other genres right now.

Additional Requirements

• Looking for something with similar gameplay and combat mechanics to Astral Chain.
• Prefer games that run well on the Steam Deck.
• Good performance and controls are important.
• Small skill tree and not an overwhelming amount of customization.

Now I’m looking for recommendations for games similar to Professor Layton that run well on the Steam Deck. Here’s a bit of background on what I’ve played and what I’m looking for:

Previously Enjoyed Games

• Professor Layton series – Really enjoyed the puzzles and storytelling.
• Ace Attorney series – Loved the mystery elements, especially the Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright crossover.
• Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective – Enjoyed the puzzle-solving and unique mechanics.

Preferred Genre

I want to stick with narrative-driven puzzle/mystery games similar to Professor Layton, Ace Attorney, and Ghost Trick. Not looking to explore other genres at the moment.

And lastly I'm looking for games similar to Another Code Recollection.

Background & Preferences

• I haven’t played many games like Another Code: Recollection, so I’m open to suggestions.
• I’ve played a lot of hidden object games, but I don’t think they capture the same experience.
• I really liked the art style of Another Code: Recollection, though I don’t know of other games with a similar look.
• Oh yeah I forgot to mention I played Master Detective Archives: RAIN Code on the Switch. Will probably check it out on Steam soon

Preferred Genre

• Unlike my usual preferences, I’m open to different genres as long as they offer strong storytelling and exploration elements.
• Mystery, adventure, or narrative-driven games are welcome!

Additional Requirements

• The game must be compatible with the Steam Deck and run well.
• A strong story-driven experience with engaging exploration.
• Bonus points for a similar graphical style, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
