Hogwarts legacy Ascendo mod

Hey everyone, I've installed Hogwarts legacy empress crack on my steamdeck, which is working fine. However the performance is a bit bad and to improve, I wanted to add the ascendo mod. However, it's not working with the error being - couldn't find engine.ini Was anyone able to get it working? Or any other mod/settings for better performance?
