Does this diameter look good on me?

So for context I live in the middle of nowhere Canada, the only person in my entire town that makes septum jewelry is this really nice nerdy guy that has a little shop at a farmers market.

For 8g septum’s he only has this diameter and says it’s the diameter he always makes them. Do you think it suits me? Or should I bite the bullet and buy a smaller one from Etsy?
