Do I sell or trade in?

I have a 15 XT with 96k miles. I need a little more space so I'm picking up a Ascent. Question is, do I sell private party or trade in? Trade in is somewhere around $14K. Private party is a little more at about $15-16K. Ive seen them go for up to $18-19K. How is the demand privately for the XTs? Mine is stock and in great condition. Ive seen similar go for more. I think I am leaning towards trading in for convenience but I'm open to holding on to it to sell privately.
