Honestly...

Not going to get all political or poetic here, all I came here to say is that I dont know about any others of you but I genuinely like "filler like" episodes better than the "serious story" episodes in Supernatural. Just finished watching S8E11 and it was much more enjoyable than the nonsentical main plot of the show.

(P.S. after reading some comments - I do not mind spoilers, but if you do share same, I do implore on putting them in those fancy spoiler bars as I have no clue on the rules of this sub-reddit and would like to not get banned on another sub-reddit...)
