PBIS and Consequences for 8th graders - what works?

Hello all,

I'm about to be transitioned out of a younger grade into 8th Grade. I was leaning heavy on candy/stickers and calling parents for behaviors. I'm not sure these will be as effective with 8th graders- many in the school seem to have adopted a "too cool" attitude and admin has hinted calls home aren't as effective in that grade level. Any input on what may work?
