Best free editing software that isn't Capcut?

So I never downloaded Capcut ever and I thankfully had tiktok on my phone before the ban. Now that I am using Tiktok I am wanting to use an editong software and clearly being in the US I can't get Capcut anymore for the time being?

What is the best alternative that is free???
