Children of celebrity who died at their age of 6 or younger don’t get to tell people what kind of person their parent was

It’s one thing to stand up for your parents, but it’s another thing to be too young to remember anything and have a basic grasp of what’s going on around you. Most people don’t have enough vocabulary and a well trained thought process to carry on a critical thinking at the age of 6, let alone discussing ideology, value, morality, social issue with their parents.

Take Bernice King, daughter of MLK for example, she’s the youngest child in the family. She’s only 5 when her dad was assassinated. Yet she’s been very active on correcting people on twisting her dad’s words and telling us who he really was. I don’t mind to give some benefit of doubt, but if she’s only 5, she doesn’t get to lecture people what’s right or wrong. Maybe it’s more convincing from her elder siblings.

So that’s my take. If you’re too young, you don’t know your parents more than any outsider does. You learn them the same way we do, from textbook and newspaper. I don’t believe anything other than caring, loving, fatherly, motherly from a 6 year old.
