Where exactly to find the previously filed Form 5695?
I made energy efficient upgrades in 2023 but the credit was not used and I was anticipating they'd carry forward to 2024 like TT said they would. (I filed online via TT last year). I cannot find the submitted form online or on my IRS account anywhere. When I select the option to Amend 2023 Taxes, I see the details and the credit on the Home Energy Credits section .. which is the same exact amount in the tax and credits lines 16 & 18 (Also 22 & 24).
My main question is did Turbo tax file the Form 5695 on behalf of me or was I supposed to do that separately? My assumption was it'd be filed automatically through TT. If it was in fact filed, where the heck do I find it? (It's not anywhere in the documents on my TT account and Google isn't much help). TIA.
