What are your favorite fantasy character classes?

With Balder’s Gate 3 being out I’m interested in what people’s favorite kinds of characters are for fantasy games. Classics like fighter, rogue, and wizard? Something a little more unique like oracle, magus, or kineticist from Pathfinder? Maybe a psychic or psionic class? I want to know people’s preferences.

Me personally, my favorite way to play is old school GISH. Eldritch Knight, Arcane Trickster, and I’ve even dabbled in the likes of Arcane Archer and Dragon Disciple.

I’ll also throw in honorable mentions at Paladin, since it was the first class I ever played all the way back when I first started playing tabletop games in high school, and Alchemist since it was one of my favorite classes in Parhfinder 1e.
