Notable cases of characters dealing with age?

As the title states, what're some series where a character has to deal with the fact that they've gotten old? Whether it be a child growing up, or going into their twilight years.

Many superhero stories have this. For example, Spider-Man: Life Story is an AU where Peter and the greater Marvel universe actually age in real time. By chapter 3, Peter is in his late 30s and noticeably slowing down, which is why he keeps using the symbiote despite the risk. Come the finale, where Peter is 72, he can still fight, but he's clearly not as capable anymore. Then Batman Beyond has Bruce. 20 years prior, a routine bust went wrong when the aging Bruce had a heart attack mid-fight, causing him to pick up a gun and swear off being Batman. Come the main series proper, while Bruce can defend himself if the situation calls for it, he's become Terry's Alfred. And the episode Out of the Past is all about Bruce lamenting his mortality.

Joseph in part 4 of JoJo. We first see Joseph as a crazy 19 year old ham back in part 2. Then he shows up in his late 60s, still hammy and crazy but somewhat more mature in part 3. But come part 4, Joseph is a shell of himself. At 79 years old, Joseph just isn't capable of the same crazy shenanigans as he was in earlier parts. In addition, he's lost good friends over the years, permanently damaged his relationship with Suzi Q due to cheating on her, and has a strained relationship with Josuke. But having to take care of Shizuka and knowing his son grew up into a fine young man gives Joseph some of his wits back. It's honestly why I hate the idea of Joseph just faking it to get out of trouble. You want more young Joseph shenanigans instead of the actually sweet story of him and Josuke bonding together?
