Is it possible my prof didn’t include the final exam in my final mark?

I just got back a final grade today and my grade is exactly the same as it was without the final exam. The final exam was worth the majority of marks and I think it might be the case that my professor didn’t include my final exam grade. Has this ever happened to anyone before and is that even possible? Kinda freaking out because the mark is really low :(
