"Hannah Hunt" Breakdown on Vampire Weekday
The Vampire Weekday podcast's streak of covering three of my favourite tracks in a row continues with "Hannah Hunt", my favourite off MVOTC, and listening reminded me that if we were to create The Ultimate Vampire Weekend Checklist (of things to do that are referenced in the songs), "Hannah Hunt" has some good ones...
Drive from Providence to Phoenix - I assume the couple in the song are driving. They could also be hitching or bussing, but not flying if they pass through Waverly (TN?) and Lincoln (?).
Go to Santa Barbara. I mean, we could specify that you have to cry, but that feels forced--I think just going to SB is enough.
Buy kindling for a fire.
Tear a copy of the New York Times up into pieces.
