Defective Pirelli tires
I have a 2023 XC60. I have 23k miles on the car. First owner, but I did buy it as a CPO. It was a loaner car for 1200 miles. I noticed a day or so ago that my front tires have chunks missing out of them. I called the dealership to set up a service. They said there was an issue with the Pirellis made between 2021 and 2022. He went on to tell me I needed to buy new tires, and they would send mine back to Pirelli and Pirelli would determine my refund amount, and that the process can take 3-5 months. Anyone else experience this? I'm thinking it's complete BS that I have to buy new tires and wait for them to grant me some sort of refund. And that the tires I buy have to be Pirellis in order to get this refundm
