how serious does ur store take the copyright release form for professional photos?

just had a lady throw her items at me in frustration because i said in order for us to sell her the photos that were taken by a professional photographer, that we needed a copyright release form from the photographer. she said “when tf did y’all start requiring that, i’ve always printed my photos at walgreens & never needed that” & calling me all types of dumb & slow. like bro i’m jus doing what my manager told me lmfao why must you curse at me & get frustrated with me?
