Was this mother?

A few mins ago I was npc hunting with my friend and his friends and while we were on shed roof one of his friends tried to err get mother to possess them since shes in the server but while they were doing that I saw a black warrior walk on the mountains, i only saw the tails and back legs though and then someone else said they saw the exact same cat on the road and i just left INSTANTLY, so idk if its mother since she has like 2 appearances and both tall summoner and spider was in the server. Was it me hallucinating again or did i really see it?
