Does the G14 have battery pass through?

I want to know if the laptop has battery pass through or something like that to avoid battery degradation ("battery pass through" as in instead of charging the battery when plugged in it just powers the components like ram, gpu, cpu, etc).

I've had my G14 for a little over a year now and my battery life went from around 8-10ish hours to about 3-5 now. I am planning to replace the battery soon and I really want to avoid battery degradation as much as possible. (Also I use the term" battery pass through" in this post, I am not sure if there is a more official word for it)
