Windows application hangs when saving session

I recently changed to a new laptop and installed the zwift application on it. I noticed that every time I finish a session and attempt to save, the save functionality appears to complete behind the scenes, but the save page simply hangs and never transitions to the next screen in the flow. I am not sure if perhaps it is related to hardware or not but am looking for some insight since my only recourse at the moment is to go into the task manager and kill the zwift process. Anyone experiencing or have experienced this?
