Additional Smart Home app

Hi there, is there any third party app to control the alexa smart home devices? I would like to have an app that the main function is to control the home devices, rather than Alexa and everything connected to it. I am interested in something additional to Home Assistant. I have it at home and I am looking for something that is easy to maintain, in a way that my mom can use without big difficulties, like HomeKit.
