TRV900 or GL1?

I am looking for some good miniDV cameras and I found a Sony TRV900 and a Canon GL1, both for around $120.

I am trying to find out the pros/cons of both cameras to determine which one is the best.

Also, I live in a PAL country but the GL1 is NTSC, should I expect problems when transferring videos/hooking it up to a television?
