Dating as a 40 year old nerd

Pretty much says it all. Ive been in multiple relationships over the years, but now that I'm over 40, it feels like I'm judged for my hobbies. That alone makes me nervous about trying to date again.

Without giving that up, cause I'm not one to hide who i am, any dating suggestions?
