To the ungrateful pseudo-fans...

First off, this is not a "It's your fault they broke up"-text, and I am not going to tell you something, that has never been said before. Death Grips was far more that just a "ohh silly loud goofy" band, with "haha funny man go scream weird words".

It was one of the most exciting, unique, innovative, intimate and yet extreme art projects of our time. Even a genius David Bowie loved them. Atleast show some respect for it, now that it's over.

Instead of discussions about the music, most of y'all rather shitposted. Fuck, I mean we needed a seperate subreddit, for profound disputes about their music.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all in for a good shitpost, or a lighthearted joke about my favorite band. But some of y'all just took it too far. This whole "haha crackhead haha" attitude? Seriously? There is a reason why the whole internet percieves Death Grips fans as annoying and unbearable.

Imagine how you would feel, if you'd pour your heart and soul into something, and people don't even take it serious.

If you'd read Stefans lyrics for more than 5 seconds, you'd see that this man has been through a fair share of hard times. That this man is well-read and intelligent. That this man has been honest and open about some of the most intimate events in his life.

Zach is one of the greatest drummers the world as ever seen. His playing is otherworldly. His attitude towards art is unique.

And Andys work was the backbone and glue of this project. Without his expertise, talent and creativity, this would've not worked.

From the bottom of my heart...

Thank you Zach

Thank you Stefan

Thank you Andy

...and everyone else, who made this project possible.

I'll never forget, what you did for me and your uncountable fans all around the world.
