Should I be saving guns?

Aside from the usual (exotics, raid weapons, shapeable, pattern)

Should I be keeping other drop guns or just dismantling them.

Are there certain guns that are top tier (primarily PvE player)

I’ve been keeping the best copy of legendary weapons in my vault right now but not really sure if it’s doing me any good or which one I should really even be using.
