Guys, is it true that in the upcoming future, Frontend roles will high likely to be gone?

Hi guys

I am currently working as a .net BE, few days back my manager that in the upcoming future, the front-end dev roles will be gone as most of the work will be taken care by BE/Full stack devs, is it true guys please suggest?
