This season, I'm making it a personal goal to clear the absolute highest rift possible. What should my priorities be, in what order?

To clarify; I'm a pretty seasoned D3 player. I just haven't played in a very long time. But this season is honestly hitting me at the perfect time, as I'm going to have time this weekend, so I'm gonna be jumping on to play a ton with my dad and hopefully a couple of buddies.

I've never managed to clear the top level rift before (I think it's like 150, right? I wanna say I stalled out around 133 on a Wizard years ago...), and it's honestly just always felt like this lingering personal goal that I just never managed to achieve.

So this season, I want to finally change that.

I really want to set myself up for success, though, and choose whatever class looks like it will be the most powerful, with the easiest rotation? Like I said, I haven't played in a hot minute, and since I imagine there's gonna be a whole lot of Paragon grinding involved, I want to pick something that's going to be relatively chill. Best I can remember, the old meteor build I'd used years back was basically like two buttons; Teleport and Meteor? I could totally be misremembering.

Now, last time the Sanctified stuff was around, I remember playing a Crusader, and having an absolute blast with the build. If all things are relatively equal, I think that would maybe be my preference, but I don't also remember if the build was particularly strong at high levels, or if it was just fun. Like I said, my main goal is simply clearing the highest level rift, but if that "run around with steed charge and watch things die" build can achieve that, I think that would probably be my preference.

Alright... now, what should my order of operations look like?

Get Haedrig's gift, complete a greater rift... whatever level it was to unlock Primals? And then just farm the crap out of bounties? What point would you recommend focuses on rifts or greater rifts?

Any advice is appreciated! I'm honestly pretty excited to jump into this season, but anything to help me hit the ground running and finally clear that personal achievement would be awesome!
