The Druid’s “Lacerate” build feels awful; what am I missing? What are the easier “speedfarming” builds?

I opted to give the Druid a try this season, since people were saying Lacerate was getting buffed. I apparently confused Lacerate with Shred, which was a fun build to play earlier, but now that I’m entering T2, its damage seems to have fallen off a cliff.

Thing is, I fully committed to the Lacerate build, master working everything to the first bonus (4, I think?), I don’t have any of the uber uniques yet, but my gear is pretty much all ancestral and pretty good rolls.

Despite all this, Lacerate just feels like the slowest, most clunky build I think I’ve ever played. I’ve only managed to get Lacerate down to a 16 sec cooldown, but the character just feels completely useless outside of that moment.

Maybe I’m just missing something, but there is no way in hell you could possibly convince me this is a “speedfarming” build. It just seems slow, clunky, and even in the highest level of play I could find on youtube, it seemed slow as hell. Powerful, but slow.

Honestly though, I just want an easy, fast, and chill build to mess around with. I didn’t really care for the Spiritborn last season, but not sure what else is really competitive for just farming stuff quickly? I don’t care about pushing levels in Pit, but would like to be able to farm the highest Torment level just running world content.

Any advice?
