Tap Tempo Microcontroller for Fv-1

I know this probably has been asked multiple times but I wanted to make a new build where I control the Fv-1 crystal and all pots with a micro controller probably a 3.3v so I don't over complicate the circuit.. which will allow me also to have a tap tempo function, I'm trying to wrap my head on what is the best approach to write a tap tempo code or if there are any code already somewhere.. I'll probably write the code in c or Arduino or smth
