Obtaining Cuban citizenship

I was born in the US and both of my parents are Cuban. I’ve been doing research on getting a Cuban citizenship and have found that I could qualify due to my parents being Cuban, however it’s hard to find much information about the process of actually getting citizenship and its difficulty. The reason I want a Cuban citizenship is so that I can apply for a Spanish citizenship after two years of residency in Spain, instead of the usual 10 years.

My grandmother has applied for Spanish citizenship through her Spanish grandfather, but the Democratic Memory law expires in October of this year so I may not be able to obtain citizenship through her.

Has anyone else gone through the Cuban citizenship process?
