Question about Nadia

Hi all. I'm sorry if this might sound like out of topic, and if someone already ask this question, but I have some question to ask.

For a long time, I really wanted to watch Nadia. And the more I've read about it, the more I know the behind the scene disaster that happened during the production of Nadia.

I really felt sorry for Hideaki Anno, and that's one of the reason Anno created Evangelion because of the depressions that he had on behind the scene of Nadia.

I knew about the existent of a director's cut version of Nadia called The Nautilus Story. Consider that's the version that Anno intended to make, and some said it's more streamlined version of Nadia, is it much better to watch that version instead?

I really respect Anno as a director and writer, and I really wanted to watch Nadia as he intended to make.
