pasted image shows no value after save

macos excel 16.90

i am trying to copy a table of numbers with a photo to each row of numbers into excel from the web. the photo shows up in the cell, but once i save and reopen the image shows "#UNKNOWN!"

how do i get the pasted images from the web to save correctly in the file?
