Basic question, but what do you think is the greatest album of all time? My vote goes to:
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
When it comes to The Beatles, I could’ve picked any other album of theirs like Abbey Road or Revolver. But when it comes to overall musical and cultural influence, I personally think Sgt. Pepper’s exceeds that feat by a long mile; it inspired many musical genres/subgenres, revolutionized pop and rock music, song composition, production, concept albums, album artwork and imagery, as well as calling out to the album era and culture during the 1960s more than any other album released during that period in my opinion. Also, I feel like this album and its music still holds up very well in the modern times (as does pretty much everything else that The Beatles made).
I could praise this album as the greatest of all time for years…
