When to say goodbye?

My little rescue girl, Gypsy, is at least six or possibly even years old and has insulinoma. She's on Prednisolone twice a day. She is still eating and pooping but she's very inactive and sleeps most of the time (even more than she used to.). Is she possibly in pain? I love her but if she's suffering I don't want to prolong it.
