Not necessarily how good the film is. But what are performances that you keep going back to. Watching scenes or just watching the film purely for the performance.

Mine are

Denzel in Training Day Mickey Rourke in Sin City.

Granted, I like Sin City more than Training Day, but neither film is something I would rate so high.

But those performances.
