Fleece Question

Do you guys have areas where your guinea pigs pee and the fleece is wet/very damp? I just don’t necessarily see how that’s hygienic for them. It worries me that they’re just sitting in a wet/damp area of their own pee…

I have a fleece liner from petsmart and amazon that I’ve noticed this with. I even bought extra fleece liners and they still soil them where I’m like “is this too damp with pee?” It worries me.

Any tips appreciated. Maybe I should have gotten guinea dad fleece or something because when I visit my sisters her guinea pigs cage didn’t have this wet/damp urine areas like I’m dealing with.

Makes me feel like a bad parent. It’s only been a week now though and I’m learning.
