LGBTQ users- no sexual roles?
I just got Hinge, am queer, and I'm so confused. There's not really any natural way to note sexual roles- how the heck do you all do it? Do I have to bring up sex in text conversation before we even meet?
I've never encountered an app that really had no way for me to indicate I'm a top before and everyone just seems to not indicate it at all. With only 8 free likes a day it'd be annoying to waste them on people who are not compatible on the most basic level, but i also don't usually want to talk about sex until we have met in person and are like, thinking we want to bone- at which point we would BOTH be annoyed it lasted that long.
I'm curious what everyone's tactics are!
Context: I'm 37 nonbinary, dating age range 26-45 nonbinary and women, in the Boston area. But i want advice from anyone who is LGBTQ or knows how their friends handle it
