Replacement for Govee2Mqtt

Is anyone aware of a replacement or upcoming official integration for Govee?

I'm assuming the Govee2Mqtt add on has been abandoned, with no check ins in the past 5 months and over 120 open issues, there send the be no interest in continued support for it (unless there is a developer out there with the knowledge and interest to fork it)

This is leaving Govee users with limited options. For such a large player in the Home lighting space, it's surprising there isn't an official integration.
