Guys! Yet another problematic comment turning a serious case into a mockery. How do people find the confidence to make such comments?
The reel in question: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DDojWLIN01m/?igsh=MXZ6and3bTRrcDV4OA==
A clip of a protesting woman emphasizing the importance of consent was used in a reel, and the poster achieved their goal: views and engagement through a manufactured gender war. However, the comments weren’t even a debate; they were overwhelmingly one-sided and filled with horrible remarks.
This situation feels similar to the Bhagyesh Patel comments. It’s frustrating to see Atul Bhai’s case being misused to fuel hatred against women, which ultimately diminishes the seriousness of the actual issue. Even Atul Bhai himself wouldn’t have wanted his name exploited by s*xists.
The commenters follow a simplistic and flawed logic: since, according to them, no woman supported Atul, they see no reason to support female r*pe victims. They conveniently ignore the fact that women did stand by Atul, because acknowledging that would disrupt their chosen narrative. The entire comment section is flooded with such takes. I couldn’t read further and didn’t attach more screenshots.
