How to purchase Kindle book

I’ve seen several books that only have Kindle Unlimited option and I don’t pay for that but appears I can’t buy it on Kindle without that plan? What are people doing in this case? Are we just not reading books?

The Unlimited option says “this app doesn’t support the purchasing of this content”, but I thought we had to buy kindle books through Amazon and like sites?!
