How to fix scratches on the screen

I am so devastated to see my screen upon opening my case which was apparently soaked in rubbing alcohol. I don't know how to fix this. I tried wiping it with Goo Gone (hoping it would help), but to no avail. I saw here that maybe eraser works? But also to no avail. I need help or tips or someone telling me the truth that this can't be fixed anymore.

(At the back of my mind, I thought, "maybe this could be ab excuse to buy the colorsoft," but no, I don't need it at this moment, lol.)
