Akali is currently at one of her strongest states in quite a while. Why aren't pros picking her?

It's surprising,

Akali is considered "fine" at around 47% WR.

She's currently at 50%+, which is borderline OP for her standards, but has only been picked ONCE.

I remember at worlds a few years ago she was MUCH MUCH weaker, yet she was basically a staple, and Zeka pulled out insane plays left and right with her

As of recently she hasn't really been in pro much tho

I'll be honest, even as an Akali player always in fear of the next "pro targeted Akali nerf", I'm sad that she's not picked

She's so much more fun to watch that Azir, Ori and what have you, especially since she usually brings out the Sylas counterpick and the games become a lot more scrappy and action packed

I'm going to be really disappointed if we lost the last Pro viable Assassin we had

Damn.
