Ex wishing death upon me

TW Violence: We were going through an amicable breakup when their entire attitude suddenly changed, and they said they hope I get shot in the head and some other alarming statements. It’s really alarming cause it was completely out of the blue, I’m not sure if this counts as a threat in the eyes of the law.
